But sign it as &quot;Ask for ID&quot;.

I inquired informally around and many ppl really sign it as &quot;Ask for ID&quot;

If you sign it and it gets stolen, person can also sign your checks! However, I doubt that banks relly check for signatures for checks in detail.

					<description>Well, if you don't sign-it, it makes it easy for him/her to simply sign it with the signature he/she is most comfortable with!!!

You better sign-it.

When they ask for the ID they are not checking signature, they are checking the names on the DL with the name on the card.</description>
