But sign it as "Ask for ID". I inquired informally around and many ppl really sign it as "Ask for ID" If you sign it and it gets stolen, person can also sign your checks! You better sign-it. When they ask for the ID they are not checking signature, they are checking the names on the DL with the name on the card. Well, if you don’t sign-it, it makes it easy for him/her to simply sign it with the signature he/she is most comfortable with!!!

But it will not difference for forger, in case he gets your credit card. Even if you say \"Ask for ID\", he can always forge the ID :) After all he is \"forger\".
